While applying for an Ireland visa, you need to have all the following documents ready with you. These documents are as follows:
Passport:
You are required to submit a valid passport that satisfies two conditions, the first being that your passport should be valid for at least 6 proceeding months from the date you intend to leave Ireland, and the second being that your passport should have at least 2 visa pages which are left blank.
Application Form For Visa:
You need to apply for an online application form through AVATS, which is the online Irish Application Facility. Once the form is completed, you are required to print the form, sign it, and mention the date.
Passport-sized Photographs:
You are needed to attach two passport-sized photographs of yours which are taken not more than 6 months before your application date, and they should match the Irish Photograph requirements. Please make sure that your pictures are in-line with the requirements, or else the application processing time will be delayed.
Receipt of Ireland Visa Fee:
Upon your submission of the visa application, you need to pay a processing fee for the same. You need to include proof of payment, such as the receipt if you are applying by post.
Proof of Legal Residence in Your Native Country:
You are required to give proof that you are a legal resident of the country from which you are applying for the visa. You should also have the legal permit to stay in that country for at least the next 3 months from your departure from Ireland.
Purpose of Travel:
You need to state the purpose of travel while applying for a visa. The purpose varies for different types of visas. It can be for the purpose of visiting somebody, or for study purposes, or maybe for permanently settling in Ireland.
Accommodation in Ireland:
You need to provide valid proof that you have a place to reside in Ireland. This can be your friend’s or relative’s place of residence or a rented apartment.
Information Regarding Friends and Family in Ireland:
If you have been invited by either your friends or family members to visit them in Ireland, you need to include the following while applying for the visa.
A letter of invitation which needs to be signed by them, containing their address.
A photocopy showing the details page of their passport and their signature on the same.
Details stating how you know the mentioned individual. Providing proof if possible.
Previous Ireland Visas:
If you have previously visited Ireland, you need to attach a copy of your previous visas and the purpose of your visit along with your application. Also, include details of your visas to other countries as well (even if they were refused).
Study/Employment Documents:
This point depends upon whether you are visiting Ireland for the purpose of education or to pursue a job. In case you are a student and want to pursue higher education, you need to submit a valid invitation letter from an Ireland university. While in the case of an employee, you need to submit the offer letter from a company based in Ireland.
Bank Statement and ITR Reports:
While applying for a visa, you need to show proof of sufficient funds for visa approval. This includes your bank statement for the past 6 months and ITR reports for the past 2 years.
