ISS official Notification – Regional Logistics Advisory and Safety Update
Dear Valued Clients and Global Partners, Greetings from ISS Relocations.
Based on the latest operational advisories received from international air and sea carriers, shipping lines, road transport partners, and freight networks, we wish to formally update you on the current regional environment and its potential impact on relocation and logistics movements across the Middle East and South Asia.
All ISS Relocations offices, warehouses, and operational facilities across the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait,Saudi Arabia, India, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives remain fully operational, secure, and functioning without internal disruption. Our infrastructure, workforce, and service capability remain intact and responsive.
Sea Freight: Carriers have advised of potential vessel schedule adjustments, blank sailings, congestion at select transshipment hubs, and precautionary rerouting of vessels. Operational sensitivities in and around the Strait of Hormuz — one of the world’s most strategic maritime corridors — may contribute to extended transit times and short-term freight rate volatility.
Air Freight: Airlines are conducting dynamic airspace monitoring, with occasional route diversions, revised flight schedules, and temporary cargo capacity constraints on certain sectors. These precautionary measures may result in moderate delays and fluctuating freight availability.
Road Logistics: Cross-border trucking operations across the GCC and regional corridors continue to operate normally. However, enhanced security inspections, border monitoring protocols, and regulatory checks have slightly increased transit documentation review times in certain sectors. No major highway closures or internal distribution interruptions have been reported, but minor scheduling adjustments may occur as a preventive measure.
These developments are precautionary and driven by broader geopolitical considerations, not by any compromise to infrastructure or workforce stability.
At the governmental level, authorities across the region have implemented comprehensive safety and security measures to safeguard residents, businesses, and trade corridors. These include enhanced maritime and airspace monitoring, strengthened port, airport, and border security protocols, close coordination with international regulatory bodies, and proactive contingency planning to ensure operational continuity. Governments have emphasized that these steps are preventive and aimed at maintaining stability and uninterrupted commerce.
ISS Relocations remains in continuous communication with carriers, port authorities, airport operators, and regulatory agencies. Every shipment under our care is closely monitored, and our Move Managers will proactively share confirmed updates and alternative solutions where necessary.
We remain confident in the resilience of the region’s logistics infrastructure and sincerely hope for continued stability and swift normalization of trade flows. We appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued trust.
