IAM is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthieu Odijk as their new Director of Sales. Matthieu’s extensive experience in global mobility will make him an invaluable member of our team. A true moving industry expert, he has more than 21 years of logistics experience and 18 years of experience working for respected IAM member companies.
Aside from EIM (Essentials in International Moving), LIM (Leaders in International Moving), and other leadership programs, Matthieu has completed several industry-related education programs. In addition to his extensive industry experience, Matthieu is fluent in four languages, making him an excellent communicator and facilitator.
He is married with two children, aged almost 5 and 9. As an outlet for staying active and maintaining a healthy work-life balance, he enjoys playing Padel and Soccer (football).
Our Director of Sales, Matthieu will be based in Denmark and responsible for helping members get the most out of their membership. Specifically, he will advise members on the benefits of attending our Annual Meeting, create relevant industry topics, and facilitate member interaction.
It will be Matthieu’s responsibility to highlight the Annual Meeting’s numerous opportunities for networking, learning about new industry trends, and meeting potential clients and partners. In addition, he will help our members understand how attending the Annual Meeting can benefit their professional development and business growth.
Our Annual Meeting will also feature relevant industry topics created by Matthieu. Working with members on this will involve understanding their needs and interests, as well as identifying key themes and topics. Using his expertise and industry knowledge, Matthieu will ensure the topics covered at our annual meeting are relevant, engaging, and valuable to our members.
As a final step, Matthieu plans to facilitate member engagement and encourage members to participate in IAM. Identifying ways IAM can support the business goals of our members will involve building relationships with them, understanding their needs, and identifying ways we can support their business goals. Additionally, Matthieu will make sure our members are aware of the full range of resources and services available to them, such as our online forums, educational resources, and industry events.
