It’s official: Xingang Port is on lockdown

Here is the latest news from Asian Tigers China:

The Xingang Port, located in mainland China is now under lockdown due to the COVID outbreak. This means that shipments coming in and out of Beijing and Tianjin are affected. The National Day holidays from October 1st to 10th will not change this lockdown.

Consequently, we do not have an official government estimate for when service may resume. Furthermore, the backlog of port processing could take weeks to resolve.
